At first, we going to Type-1 which is uploading .xml file.

Follow step by step

Step-1: Download Blogger Template

Click “Download” button to download. Save zip template in your computer.

Step-2: Extract zipped downloaded template file.

File format that you have downloaded is a .ZIP format. We are only able to upload a file with .xml extension. So it is need to be extracted and then upload. Please Extract or Unzip it.

Step-3: Log in your Blogger Site.

You must logged in your google account to access your blogger site. If you are already logged in, Ignore this step.

Step-4: Access Blogger Theme Section

If you have multiple blogs choose your Blog in your Dashboard that you want to change template, Then click “Theme” in the option panel on the left.

Step-5: Access Backup or Restore

Look at the top center, you will see “Backup / Restore” button and click it on. Some Blogger version show this button top right corner.

Step-6: select .xml file and upload Template

Manage on pop-up windows and click template file ( .xml ). Folder has a .XML file, .TXT file, Internet shortcuts and etc., You should select only .XML file.

Step 7: Start uploading template

Click “Upload” button. Now uploading process appear in your screen. Like Restoring Theme.

Another method which is Install Blogger Template using copy and paste.

Step-8: Open .xml file with text editor

Open .xml file using text editor like notepad, wordpad, notpad++ or something like that. As you wish.

Step 9: Copy all coding carefully

In the text editor, press ctrl+a and then ctrl+c ( Here ctrl+a to select all code and ctrl+c to copy the selected code )

Step-10: Open HTML Editor on your blogger

Now open HTML Editor on blogger dashboard and click “Edit HTML” button.

Step-11: Paste coding on blogger HTML Editor

Click in HTML Editor. Press ctrl+a and then ctrl+v ( Here ctrl+a to select all codes and ctrl+v to replace selected codes with copied template coding). Finally click “Save theme” button.
